The scientific study discredits the position of the antiasbestos lobby in the U.S. and raises the question of the objectivity of tens of thousands of court decisions.

There are no bases to assert existence of any connection between influence of asbestos and development of cancer diseases – the scientists who have investigated a disease history about two million women suffering a mesothelioma (one of deadly forms of a cancer) have come to such conclusion. Disputes over the use of asbestos do not subsidize – so far there is no consensus on this issue. Today, the Environmental Protection Agency is protecting the material.

The Environment Protection Agency of the USA (EPA) has appeared in front line of struggle for the future of the market of asbestos-containing materials, having published preliminary results of research of 33 standard rules of use of asbestos in the country. Six categories of the goods made with application of chrysotile-asbestos, the unique kind of asbestos authorized for use in the world (the second kind – amphibole asbestos – is forbidden everywhere) have got under a sight.

Fraud Is Punishable: An Official From New York Will Go To Prison For Fraudulent Asbestos Lawsuits

The loud process in a series of “asbestos” lawsuits is coming to the end
The court denied the former speaker of the New York Assembly, Sheldon Silver, a stay of his previous prison sentence. The 76-year-old official will serve six and a half years in prison. This was reported by the Courthouse News Service.
